After travelling to almost 80 countries I am excited to return to one of my favourites, Pakistan! This will be an adventure packed trip to be enjoyed with like minded travelers on a small group tour.

The trip will include the highlights of Northern Pakistan. The country is so vast and amazing I feel it is best to concentrate on one region to have the best possible experience.

I have created an all inclusive 14 day trip for my guests. The highlights will include visiting Islamabad, The Skardu and Hunza regions of Gilgit Baltistan (Mountain region), traveling on the world famous Karakoram Highway, Lahore City and much much more in between. It will incorporate the right amount of adventure with lots of time to relax and enjoy the views! There will be optional hikes included where you will be rewarded with epic views. The trip is suitable for all fitness levels.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hello Pakistan!

Fly into Islamabad International Airport. We will be waiting to bring you by private transfer to our favorite downtown hotel.
After check-in we will go to visit Faisal Mosque and nearby attractions.
In the evening we will enjoy a group dinner sampling the local cuisine while getting to know each other!
Day 2: Mountain Time

Prepare to experience views that will blow your mind on our short but spectacular early morning flight to Skardu.
We will explore Shigar Fort and head for some dune bashing in Safaranga Cold Desert today. Standing at 7,500ft it is the highest cold desert in the world!
In the evening we will return to the hotel for our group dinner
Day 3: Moments to remember

Our morning will start by visiting the picturesque Lower and Upper Kachura Lakes. We can stop by the Shangrila Resort for coffee or cocktail with a lake view!
In the afternoon we will go to explore one of the most picturesque valleys in Skardu. The hidden paradise of the Soq Valley.
In the evening we will head back down the valley to Kachura Lake. We will spead the night here, relax and enjoy dinner with a view.
Day 4: Magical Marsur Rock

This morning after breakfast there will be an optional hike to Marsur Rock. Prepare yourself for more mind blowing views and ultimate Instagram opportunities.
After our well deserved lunch we will transfer to Katpana Desert where we will make camp for tonight.
This evening we will have the opportunity to relax and do some star gazing from our unique Glamp site in the Katpana desert.
Day 5: Karakoram Highway

We will begin our journey towards the Hunza Valley on the Karakoram Highway this morning. Enjoy more spectacular views along the way.
En route we will visit the 3 Mountain junction for a photo op with the Himalaya, Karakoram and Hindu Kush Mountain ranges in the background. Next up, who is brave enough for some Zip lining??
We will settle in Minapin tonight in our traditional yurts, waking up to breathtaking views of Mount Rakaposhi.
Day 6: Attabad Lake

Our first stop today is at Kho View Point to get the best shots of Mount Rakaposhi.
We will head direct from here to our lake view accommodation at Attabad Lake. Take some time to relax here or come join us for some jet skiing or a boat ride.
This evening we will make the short trip to Karimabad to experience the local markets in Karimabad Bazaar and sample some of the local foods.
Day 7: Passu Cones & Glaciers

Heading further north this morning we get to take in amazing views of the Passu Cones and head for an optional Glacier Hike.
Onwards to Borith Lake and for the brave hearted a jaunt over Rainbow suspension bridge!
Back to Karimabad this evening to settle into our accommodation and explore more of the town.
Day 8: Hunza Cultural Day

This morning we will take a stroll to visit the historic Altit and Baltit Forts which of course have more epic views!
This afternoon we will visit Ganesh Village, the first settlement on the ancient Silk Road in the Hunza Valley.
We will take the evening to relax, enjoy our beautiful hotel and soak up the views! You deserve it!
Day 9: More Hunza Adventures

This morning after breakfast we will make our way south to Naltar Valley.
We will take a jeep ride to visit Naltar Lake and check out the local Snow Leopard Sanctuary.
Tonight we will arrive at the gateway of the Hunza Valley, Gilgit City and enjoy dinner by the river.
Day 10: Back to Islamabad

After our morning flight with more spectacular views we will arrive back to Islamabad.
In the afternoon we will visit the old town of Rawalpindi, quite the contrast from the modern and organised Islamabad.
Time for some shopping in Raja Bazar. Enjoy the bustling streets and the friendly locals. Maybe grab some souvenirs or gifts to bring back home.
Day 11: Lahore, here we come!

Up next it's time to make our way to the largest city in the Punjab region, Lahore.
En route to Lahore we will visit the worlds second largest salt mine, Khewra Salt Mine. You can stock up on your Himalayan Pink Salt here!
Welcome to Lahore! Take in the sights and sounds of this busy city. After settling in our hotel we will head out for a group dinner.
Day 12: Lahore City Tour

This morning we will visit the old part of Lahore and explore the Walled City.
Next up is Lahore Fort and the Badshahi Mosque
Lahore is famous for its Punjabi cuisine. No better way to experience it than on a city food tour, lets go!
Day 13: City Vibes

Take the morning to relax and enjoy the city.
This afternoon there will be an optional tour to visit the Wagha Border. This is the border with India.
Our last evening all together. Time for a special group dinner to say goodbye and enjoy our last night together
Day 14: Time to Say Goodbye

Unfortunately all good things come to an end :-(
There will be an early morning transfer to Lahore International airport for those making the journey home.
I will be staying extra days in Lahore. If anybody would like to join me, please just let me know.
