Cairo & The Red Sea Group Trip

Fly into Cairo International Airport. I will be waiting for you to bring you by private transfer to our favorite downtown hotel. After check-in come and join me to soak up some of Cairo by night, the city that never sleeps!

After our local breakfast we will drive to visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You have been reading about them since you were a kid and now its time to see them for real! You can even go inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu if you wish. After we have finished soaking up the pyramids under the warm Egyptian sun we will have lunch with an amazing view of the Pyramids. This will be a culinary experience while also having an amazing dining view of the last remaining wonder of the world.

After lunch we will make the short journey to the Irish designed Grand Egyptian Museum. This state of the art museum is the largest archaeological museum in the world, showcasing over 100,000 artefacts

In the evening you can relax and enjoy the rooftop views from our guesthouse before we head out for a delicious group dinner.

After a relaxing start to our morning, we will check out the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation. It now houses 22 royal mummies. They were paraded through Cairo in 2021 from the Egyptian museum to their new home. Now is the time for you to see them up close!

From here we will move to Coptic Cairo. A beautiful testament to unity where Egypt's oldest mosque, a historic synagogue, and iconic Coptic churches all stand peacefully side-by-side.

After lunch, it will be hilltop views of Cairo from the Citadel. We will also go inside the Muhammad Ali mosque which is housed inside the complex.

After some time to relax we will move to El Moez street and the famous bazar of Khan and Khalili. It’s time to practice your bargaining skills and pick up some nice souvenirs.

After a memorable stay in the capital, we will bid farewell to Cairo in the morning and board our private, air-conditioned bus for a comfortable and scenic journey to the stunning Red Sea coast.

Upon arrival, we will check into our beautiful resort just in time to enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared lunch at the hotel. Days five through ten are all about freedom, allowing you to do as little or as much as you like. All good things must come to an end. It is time to say goodbye. There will an early morning transfer to Hurghada airport.
